Sticky Bandits is a new Quickspin slot machine, one where fans of the Wild West will have access to some fun action, involving bandits that are about to rob a train. The stars of the game appear to be these bandits, which are used for the feature symbols, and not the usual lawmen that Western movies have made popular.
You get a look at the typical desert look that one would encounter in the southern areas of the United States, with huge rock formations, cactus plants and railroad tracks.
Once you move on to the reels, your attention will probably be on the two massive wilds, showing you the two sticky bandits. Additional bandits, a woman, money bags, locomotives and sticks of dynamite are available among the higher paying symbols. The ones that pay less tend to be with poker card logos on them.
The game is coming via Quickspin, a newer developer, but one that has proven already that it can create some incredible slot machines. I see it all the time in the games that they release, and I suggest you check out titles like Goldilocks, Rapunzel’s Tower or Sakura Fortune, if you want to see a couple of examples of games that were well done.
How To Play It
This being a game that has 30 active lines, you naturally have to wager on each one, in order to get them all active. You have a minimum bet of $0.15 that you can use, or you can go up to $90 with the total bet. The maximum line bet possible in Sticky Bandits reaches $3.
The game’s layout, with its 5×5 reels, does feel unusual for a slot machine, but you’re still getting paylines to form combinations on. Just because you have some massive symbols as well, doesn’t change the game enough that you’d have trouble playing it.
Two different symbols are selected to act as sticky bandits in this game, and they’re both going to be used as wilds. These are also massive wild symbols, meaning that they occupy 2 reels of 5 symbols each, when they’re fully visible.
One of the two wilds appears only on the reels 2 and 3, while the second one is reserved to the reels 4 and 5. You can get them completely visible, or you might have only a partial view. These are symbols which substitute for any others that are needed on the reels on which they appear, and on the paylines on which the wilds are present.
There is only one other feature symbol, but it doesn’t appear on the last four reels. The Locomotive scatter is only used on reel 1, and having it appear there while a wild is visible somewhere else, will trigger for you 7 free spins. Wild symbols become locked on the reels, if they appear during free spins.
This is the sort of game where the top prize doesn’t have a big value, being worth just $600. It makes up for it in other ways, and the average RTP still ends up being on the high side.
Sticky Bandits is the sort of game where you can find exciting features and better than average graphics. Add that Wild West theme to the mix, and I think that we have a good game here.
